Think back to January 23rd at 9:30 p.m. What were you doing? Were you having a mid-evening snack in front of your computer? Perhaps you were slaving over your homework? Or maybe you were out at a bar lazily drinking away the evening? These are fairly normal things to be doing at 9:30 p.m., but this woman takes the cake. Please read the following posting on Craigslist, posted at 9:30 p.m. on January 23rd and I swear I’m not making it up:
“PHP version 3 Templates-Set Up
Ok, this may be asking a lot. But if someone can do it out
of niceness, boredom or cause they like to then I'd realllly appreciate it.
My cast just recently put up phpBB forums. We needs to set up the templates for
it, and basically the most computer savvy person we have spent 6 hours, and
couldn't get it.
It's a pretty big job, but we need to templates set up with the colors we want.
If someone can take this on then please email me.
All I can offer in return is nude pics of me (yes, I'm hot lol)”
Well hun, whoever told you that bartering with your body was a good idea should be smacked. And if you came up with this brilliant idea yourself, you should be smacked! Do you want to blame the media for this lapse in judgment? Do you want to blame the confines of patriarchal society for forcing you to sell your body in exchange for work? I don’t think you’re going to be able to blame anyone but yourself for this one… sorry hun.
Are you assuming that there are men who are so disgusting in cyberspace that they would jump at the chance for nude pictures of someone who’s “hot?” I think that’s a pretty terrible thing to assume and even if there are people like that out there (which of course there are), why cater to them? There are plenty of Good Samaritans who might help you just for the sake of doing something good for someone or because they had free time. Or if you really don’t have any money to pay for someone to set up your templates, have a bake sale for God’s sake!
I have another idea. I seem to be really full of them today. Learn a skill! You can learn the basics of programming online – try Googling it. Then you’d be able to set up the templates yourself and you wouldn’t have to give away nude pictures of yourself! What a capital idea!
I apologize if I’ve been harsh…
I have another bone to pick with this Craigslist posting. Where did you learn to spell? “We needs?” You “needs” to set up a template? I “needs” you to stop posting stupid ads on Craigslist! Oui? Capeesh?
