what is invite?

Invite powers events

iggli’s invite service provides a new way to invite your friends to ticketed events.

Great events are social. You probably don’t often go to concerts or sporting events by yourself. You go with your friends. And if you are like most people, you usually find out about an event from a friend. This is why we created the invite button, which lives on ticketing and event sites or appears in an email message.

It all begins with a simple, green invite button that appears in an email, on a web page or on a ticket purchase confirmation page. You might see the invite button in a message from one of your favorite artists or a venue located in your area. You might see the button on an event page on a sports team’s website or on a confirmation page when you’ve purchased a block of tickets to an event. A single click on the green button generates an instant invitation to the event that goes out to your friends via email or one or more social networks. And everyone who becomes part of the invite has one easy place to post notes, manage responses, track the social conversation and buy tickets.

We created invite for fans and those who attend ticketed events. But we also created invite for our partners: the ticketing sites, promoters, artists, sports teams and venues that have a vested interest in selling more tickets. invite uses the power of friend-to-friend communication to help these partners promote their events, programs and ticketing opportunities by reaching out to a much larger fan base.

a couple of things we are not.

We aren’t a destination site. We aren’t a social network. If you have ideas about how we can improve the service, by all means give us some feedback.
